    English Championship kicks off tonight

Anyone interested in the English Championship (old div 2)?

Well it kicks off tonight with Reading vs Derby (managed by Frank Lampard).

    Competing teams are:

    1 Aston Villa
    2 Birmingham City
    3 Blackburn Rovers
    4 Bolton Wanderers
    5 Brentford
    6 Bristol City
    7 Derby County
    8 Hull City
    9 Ipswich Town
    10 Leeds United
    11 Middlesbrough
    12 Millwall
    13 Norwich City
    14 Nottingham Forest
    15 Preston North End
    16 Queens Park Rangers
    17 Reading
    18 Rotherham United
    19 Sheffield United
    20 Sheffield Wednesday
    21 Stoke City
    22 Swansea City
    23 West Bromwich Albion
    24 Wigan Athletic

One of the rare occasions where the 3 Birmingham teams will be in the same division. Should make for some spice.

    Aussies competing:

Mile Jedinak & Jordan Lyden - Villa
    Bailey Wright -Bristol City
    James Meredith - Millwall
Mass Luongo and maybe Trent Sainsbury - QPR
    Ryan Williams - Rotherham
    Jackson Irvine - Hull
    Adam Federici - Stoke

Hopefully one of the above earns promotion or someone like Brentford or Preston.

    Come on PNE!
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Go Derby. Keep your eye out for Mason Mount, the kids going to be a star.

A lot of games on Foxtel just looking through the listings, 3 on opening day alone. Looking forward to seeing a fair bit of the EFL Championship this season and I'm hoping Preston can actually bridge the gap for once and find their way into the Premier League and that Milwall give it a fair shake too.

Derby left it until the last (15) seconds!

I love the goal keeper watching it and saying to himself "I've got it covered, I've got it covered" then the ball dips and he lifts his hands but it's too late and you can almost hear him thinking "oh shit"

I didn't realise it was Vito. You're right he is appalling. I can't believe he was on Arsenal's list for so long.
