Looking forward to tomorrow morning's game. Polkinghorne, De Vanna and Foord were only able to walk laps today which is a bit of a worry. Hopefully Brazil won't try their gamesmanship.

      Fantastic comeback from the girls.
So now it comes down to 5am tomorrow in the final group game vs jamaica.
      Live sbs 5am.
I'll probably record it to watch later.

Good luck to the girls, massive game but might need some help from Italy also.

I say we go all out for top of the group. A Brazil win and a massive Australian win will do it.

Lets say, Brazil 2-0- that would leave us needing a 5-0 to take the group (Jamaica lost 3-0 to Brazil and 5-0 to Italy, so not out of the realms of possibility!).

Clinched 2nd thanks to a howler from Jamaica’s keeper and Sam Kerr’s tenacity and skill. Damn, 4 goals in a World Cup match is a massive achievement

I just heard Australia is out, is that due to Brazil beating Italy ?

Didn't realise Daniel Kerr was her brother.

Yep. He sure is. There is a fair family resemblance.

This weeks episode of "Bob" has Murp interviewing her. Very interesting.

When Daniel was going through that terrible time in his life, Sam didn't talk to him for two years.

I don't blame her. He was toxic and had already mostly wasted his sporting career and would have happily wasted hers too without a second thought.

isn't there? I was looking through an old copy of the Age from 1986 the other day. The only sports on TV were replays of VFL and Swans games on alternate sundays and Pot Black with the snooker.
