    EPL Season 2019/20

20 days to go so I guess it's time to start the thread. Get the feeling it's going to be one hell of a season too.

Man City and Liverpool look set to continue their battle royale for the title once again. Spurs, Chels, Arsenal and United will tussle for the best of the rest 3-6 positions while there seems a real break away from Leicester, West Ham, Everton and Wolves which should create a real deep 'top 10' so to speak. Wouldn't surprise if one of those actually did break into the top 4.

It's hard to gauge how my guys are going to go, fresh and inexperience manager Frank Lampard returns home and a transfer ban hindering us from buying though we did manage to add 2 pretty good footballers in permanently in Pulisic and Kovacic from loan. Plus the recall of Mount, Zouma, James, Abraham, Batshuayi and Bakayoko. Transfer ban what transfer ban I see us hopefully squeezing 4th on the back of our academy stars arrival.

    Predictions

    Top 6

    Liverpool
    City
    Spurs
    Chels
    United
    Arsenal

    Relegation

    Newcastle
    Brighton
    Sheffield United

    FA Cup Spurs
    League Cup Chelsea
    The curse is dead.

I can't see Liverpool winning the premiership. They always find a way to get out of winning.

Man City again for mine. Tottenham and Arsenal to drop off and maybe out of the top six to be replaces by Wolves and a surprise bolter. Cant see United getting any better under Gunnar either but they might stay in the top 60. It's going to be a season full of intrigue.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Luiz needs to be in a back 3 or he's a liability, he may be close to the best ball playing CB in the world but he needs support behind him.

Your front 3 are going to love him and score a heap. Arsenal are going to be fun to watch.

My mob just signed Che Adams and Djenope?
Give them two years and they will both be at Liverhampton, but that’s okay the transfer will be at a huge cost as always.
I actually have high hopes for us Saints this year , we look like we will be attacking , just hope we don’t leak a few goals on the rebound.
Love the manager, he seems to be a team building guy using youth.

It all starts again tonight with us playing Norwich at Anfield. Boy, the season comes around quickly.
            With no particular rational:

            Top 4

            Liverpool
            Man City
            Spurs
            Arsenal

            Bottom 3

            Burnley
            norwich
            bournemouth

With Aaron Mooy on loan to Brighton, looking forward to watching him and Matty Ryan for the Seagulls.

Also hoping Sheffield United can stay up.

Really proud of that Canaries performance - our attacking play will catch a few teams out this year.

Despite the first half defensive lapses, we stuck to our philosophy, played out from the back and gave Liverpool a few worries.

This is a pretty special Norwich group too. Four academy players started tonight and we had five players 22 or younger.

This is easily the best promoted Norwich side I've seen and if we keep playing like that, there's hope for us staying up.

I like the way Norwich is trying to play, but they'll need to sort out that defence or they'll ship a ton of goals.

City and Pool look a step above even in the first matchday. Going to be another great battle between those two.

Let's face it. Any team that has to face off against Liverpool Football Club to win trophies are going to be testicles deep in trophies inside a couple of years.

It's going to be City. Comfortably. Last season was the outlier.

Not a convincing win for the Gunners, but we will take it.

Probably the worst opening defeat for Chelsea since the inception of the PL. Early days but a couple of games in and there may be some chatter about Lampard (then again maybe not as he is their favourite son - anyway i am talking way to prematurely here as Chelsea will win their next 3 PL matches against Leicester, Norwich and Sheffield Utd).
