Re: First Ashes test, Edgbaston - Australia V England
Maybe not declaring. Only 7 overs with a bad light risk.

Thanks. Big call given the lead. England can put runs together, but surely not this many and is our attack that good it can skittle them in a day? Perhaps we're looking to keep the ball fresh for the first overs of the day?
Or is the pitch not doing enough given we are able to keep the score ticking over with no bats left?
TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.

I don't quite understand it, other than perhaps trying to make sure we can't lose. Even then, we were there 3-4 overs ago.
It bad light happens, it's going to backfire.

Yep we could fall a touch short after play tomorrow with England not even close to the target but having saved the match, and all the commentary will be around the lack of a declaration.
It's the beautiful thing about test cricket, always something critical to talk about from a tactical perspective.

Going to be an intriguing final day. This could be where no Starc could bite us with his ability to make something happen and also a tendency to clean up the tail with ease.
