Very unlucky to be called out today, I think the technology is flawed

Don't think there are any. Warne was 100% right - two guys doing the same job.

Yep and he'll probably be opening come the Australian summer with Khawaja - two guys that dominate here and can't get it done overseas.

I'd love to see the selectors have some real guts come home summer and invest in young players that have the techniques to hold up everywhere. I'd be thinking Renshaw at the top with one of Burns/Khawaja/Warner and Patterson or Pucovski in the middle order.

Pakistan at home is the series to get some time into youngsters. New Zealand will be tough, even at home.

I laughed at Langers response to keeping Warner in the side, apparently he is good with the crowd and in the dressing room.
It is obvious Scores and performing have nothing to do with his selection.
I am pretty positive his moments with the crowd aren’t good and going by his history with the opposition and the sandpaper issue in dressing rooms he is far from Langers claims.
Same old story mates looking after mates.
I know a few people in cricket and it’s not the view Langer has.

Once again a test match without a lot of meaning highlights a lackluster performance

We will need a couple of big 100's by the batsman

                  I googled bat first test match and I thought this was interesting;

Since the beginning of 2000, teams batting first have won 217 Tests but lost 250, which goes against the bat-first philosophy that has always existed in cricket

They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Thanks for that - interesting stats but heavily skewed by results from India.

Teams batting first in the UK have still won more than they’ve lost since 2000 (41-34).

I think Jack Leach will like this wicket. He’ll get just enough assistance and is the kind of bowler to challenge both edges when he finds some turn.

So long Marcus Harris. Back to Shield cricket, which is your level.

Hard hands all series Warner. Playing English pitches like he is back home.

3 quick wickets sums up our series. It's been a challenge to find Smith some support

Nearly all batting positions are up for grabs this summer

Yep for me it's only Labuschagne and Smith that are in. Not sure if 3 is the best position for Labuschagne but he certainly deserves to keep his place in the team

Losing this test puts a dampener on the ashes as it would have been good to win the series.
