Vics 2 for 13 chasing a mammoth 9 of 322 made by QLD. Khawaja scores a big ton and an impressive 88 from Heazlett

In the other game, Tas did well keeping SA to 9 for 228 which was anchored by an 82 no from Ross and Faulkner taking 3 wickets for Tas

Vic's are getting crushed at 5 for 38. Maxwell fails and Finch is the only one trying to build an innings

Harris, Pucovski and Handscomb all feathered the ball to the keeper for bugger all runs

Really impressed by Sam Heazlett so far. Looks to have done a lot of work technically and is a far more expansive player than what we've seen in the past.

He's one I wouldn't mind start to see integrated into the one day international side.

He was one to watch a couple of year back but never quite made it but I agree he's looks like he is very organised now with a good range of shots

Great chase down by Vics today to beat Qld's score of 304. Vics ended up with 1/305 with Finch making 188 n.o. and Harris 61 n.o

Daniel Hughes from NSW is in some fine form with back to back tons and a career List A average of 59.

Is he a chance for a ODI debut? Against him is his age (approaching 31) the difficulty in dislodging Finch and Warner from the openers positions and Khawaja is also in some ripping form with 2 tons from 2 innings.

No from me. He'll be 35 when the next World Cup rolls around - this is the time we should start working out who will be there.

In the same context, I really, really like Khawaja as a ODI opening bat but would stopping picking him. He'll be 36 at the next World Cup and he's never performed in India - time to transition away from those guys and start to rebuild.

How good is 17 year old Jake Fraser-McGurk? Follows up a 50 in his Shield debut with 54 from 49 in yesterday's one dayer.

I went and had a look yesterday, he's a stylish batsman. Understandably he lacks a bit of power but he should be a great cricketer for a long while. There is plenty to be impressed about

I wonder why Tremain or Boland weren't playing?

Vics fall short by one run in trying to chase down SA's score of 322
Callum Ferguson was the man of the match for his 122

Finch made 119 and Fraser-McGurk was 41 not out which is another good learning experience for him
