What a great opening stance to thrash India - 0/258. Warner 128, Finch 110.

While the batting did well, it was really the bowlers who set it up.

Dismissing then for 255 was a brilliant effort, as they were on track for a score well in excess of 300 around the 25 over mark in their batting.

I always find the work of the bowlers is under valued as I felt Cummins was the main bowler to restrict them and deserved the Man of the Match.

How enjoyable was it to watch Kohli fuming at every poor delivery from his bowlers that was dispatched by Warner and Finch and carrying on like a petulant child when a decision didn't go their way.

Never ceases to amaze me the carry on the Indians get away with towards the umpires. No other team is so demonstrative and disrespectful towards them. If the Aussies acted like that they would be absolutely castigated by the media. There was an LBW not given last night that DRS had just clipping the top and outside of leg stump by the barest of margins. They carried on like it was going to smash into middle stump halfway up.

Yes it was something like 1/134 after 20 odd overs, then they collapsed under some brilliant bowling.

Indians hit back hard and post a massive 340 after the 50 overs

Can we get off to a good start again?

We were just quite in the game, always about 20 runs behind where we needed to be at the 10, 20 and 30 over marks

                  Powerful performance by the Indians

No wickets to Starc and Cummings. Always hard to chase down a big score.

We elected to bat first much like the previous game but this was a flatter pitch with a fast outfield and India batter so well
I thought we were pretty good as well but just always a bit too far behind

Starc and Cummings bowled well but gave up a boundary most overs which meant India really wasn't under the pressure we would have been hoping for.

Should be a cracking 3rd game

Australia are currently 4 for 209 off 38 overs with Smith and Carey at the crease.
I think we are about 15 to 20 runs light on at the moment and we are very dependent on Smith batting through the innings now and hopefully Turner and Agar can add some fire power a bit later on when needed.

Smith is a master, great innings. GVGjr is right, we are about 20 runs or so short, so now it is up to the bowlers to restrict India.

India just way too good. Our main bowlers just couldnt get the wickets to put them under pressure
