They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

      Sunderland AFC

They’ve dropped a few divisions in recent years unfortunately.

My Grandad was a Mackem and the team was originally a group of teachers, so it seemed the appropriate team to follow.

The ox supports them, been a team that’s up and down for years, usually premier league to championship though.
Last few years they were just avoiding relegation, a little like my mob, they will rise again.

Mate, you're outta the band. If you wanna pack I'll lend you a hand. You never were much of a man.

I play bass too. We are a certain breed.

Can confirm I watched us blow the lead v What for? by giving away two penalties and wasn’t surprised. Toon toon black and white army !
Our CEO Ameet is also a Toon man. I caught up with him at a function about it and it stems from a friend of his who follows the toon. I married a Geordie is my affliction. Lucky enough to have spent significant time in Newcastle / Durham and have been to St.James’ for a couple of games.

                      Queens Park Rangers.

I suspect it will be a while before we grace the premier league again.

I actually truly got into the premier league through Leeds United in the early 00s with Viduka and Kewell. I’ll preface this by saying I was in high school, but I switched teams once they got relegated. At the time I wanted to follow a team that actually had a chance of winning the title. Chelsea and Arsenal were the dominant teams at that point and Kewell had gone to Liverpool so every second Aussie was jumping on them. So I went for United. Now it’s been 15yrs as a united fan so that’s who I follow but I’ve always been keeping an eye on Leeds. Would love to see them promoted

Leeds look like they will come back up into the EPL currently top in the Championship.

Wigan kicked 8 goals this morning. A chance to avoid relegation opens just a bit wider. We need to get 3 points against Charlton and hopefully a point against Fulham

My dad followed Charlton, having lived in the Victorian Charlton when he was a kid. He even came back from a trip to
London with a supporters shield which was ironic given he had the typical disdain for soccer that most of his generation shared for most of his life. He once told me the only round ball game was cricket. It only changed when his son and grandson both grew up to be keen followers of the game. But he couldn't support the same team, oh no.

He just had to be different!
