Sunderland AFC
They’ve dropped a few divisions in recent years unfortunately.
My Grandad was a Mackem and the team was originally a group of teachers, so it seemed the appropriate team to follow.Comment

Re: Who do Woofers support in the EPL?
I actually truly got into the premier league through Leeds United in the early 00s with Viduka and Kewell. I’ll preface this by saying I was in high school, but I switched teams once they got relegated. At the time I wanted to follow a team that actually had a chance of winning the title. Chelsea and Arsenal were the dominant teams at that point and Kewell had gone to Liverpool so every second Aussie was jumping on them. So I went for United. Now it’s been 15yrs as a united fan so that’s who I follow but I’ve always been keeping an eye on Leeds. Would love to see them promotedComment

Wigan kicked 8 goals this morning. A chance to avoid relegation opens just a bit wider. We need to get 3 points against Charlton and hopefully a point against FulhamWestern Bulldogs Football Club "Where it's cool to drool"Comment

Re: Who do Woofers support in the EPL?
London with a supporters shield which was ironic given he had the typical disdain for soccer that most of his generation shared for most of his life. He once told me the only round ball game was cricket. It only changed when his son and grandson both grew up to be keen followers of the game. But he couldn't support the same team, oh no.
He just had to be different! They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.Comment
