Spain win. At least some positive news today.

I could not have coped with an English win and especially a Piers Morgan ranting.

Re: FIFA Womans World Cup 2023

"They’ve spent months protesting against their coach and the Football Federation, but for 90 minutes and a stack of stoppage time, Spanish players put aside their frustrations to beat England 1-0 to claim the country’s first women’s World Cup to bring an end to one of the most significant events ever held in Australia.

There have been strikes, leaked emails, threats to boycott the tournament if coach Jorge Vilda kept his job and countless shots fired across the bow, but in the end it took just one shot for Spain to sink England in front of more than 75,000 fans."

Well it looks like not really liking your coach can sometimes work

Uzbekistan might have superior potassium but they have inferior women's footballers

It's no match for Kazakhstan potassium but it's ok I guess.

I know nothing about the Olympic qualification route for women's football - why was it so easy, only having to defeat the 47th ranked country for a spot in Paris?

To be fair to Uzbekistan, when compared to Kazakhstan, number 1 exporter of potassium, all other countries have inferior potassium.
