If we can get a PG good enough to start in the NBA, that will be a massive kick along for the Boomers.
Safe to say that's never happened before. I'm tipping he's slightly more athletic than Phil Smyth
Doing my best to use emojis more frequently :o

Ater Majok got picked up by the Lakers 2nd rnd, pick #58.
Probably doesn't deserve it after pissing on UConn and throwing in what would have been a starting role in a NCAA championship.
Doubt he'll see the Staples centre.
Hope he proves me wrong however.

Surprised we didn't go for an SG, especially Brooks.

But i guess they are wanting to leave room in the cap with the lockout looming.

Just realised Brooks was gone anyway, so the trade up for Mirotic could turn out a great move.

Too bad we have to wait a while.

All the talk about Irving getting selected at #1, well done to Ater Majok for at least getting a look in at pick 58.

I know my above comment is rather harsh. I am happy for him people are interested.
I am just a bit peeved that he decided to walk away from a UConn scholarship. This is something any young basketball player would give their left nut for and he decided to chase cash well well well before he was developed. As it turned out, UConn 2011 NCAA Champs and the basketball programe that would have been drilled into him would have been invaluable.

Sorry. didn't realise you had posted that.

Actually agree with you, unless you are high end talent, a college program is very valuable to any basketball player.

I read somewhere that LA were going to "Leave him overseas to develop".
I'm guessing what they have drafted is the rights to sign him if he has a breakout year in the next two years?????

A lot of clubs do that & with the lockout looming, i think it's a smart move from LA.
