    Re: EPL Season 2020/21

As shit as the camera angles are at Fulham's stadium right now they definitely give you perspective of the game you normally don't get (kinda reminds me of Arsenal's old Highbury stadium). It seems tight between playing area and fences, and you can't see the distances between the players so it looks like a quick game.

On that note Willock has put us one up twenty three minutes in. Poor old Fulham.

Pretty good effort for Willock to have scored in seven consecutive games. Look forward to watching he and ASM playing elsewhere next year whilst we plod along on the brink of relegation again, knowing that if we had a different owner and different coach things would be different.

Whilst I see some good things in the ownership structure of the PL at times, we NUFC fans have been living through the worst parts of it since 2007.

The sportswear tycoon and Newcastle United owner Mike Ashley vomited into a pub fireplace during a management meeting in which he drank 12 pints with vodka cha

That arsehole. A fair chunk of the article is blocked by a paywall, however, you kind of get who we're dealing with without having to work around it.

We go undefeated away from home this season. Good work from Ole. Now looking to the Europa League Final against Villarreal.

EPL final day: Liverpool and Chelsea UCL spots, Arsenal miss Europe in 25-year first

              By AP

Liverpool and Chelsea secured the final two Champions League qualification spots on a thrilling last day of the Premier League season, with Leicester missing out in the three-way fight for a top-four finish on Sunday.

Chelsea's 2-1 defeat at Aston Villa didn't prove critical because Leicester conceded three late goals to lose 4-2 at home to Tottenham and stay in fifth place.

Liverpool beat Crystal Palace 2-0 thanks to two goals from Sadio Mane and jumped into third place, two points above fourth-place Chelsea.

Leicester, which also missed out on Champions League qualification by losing on the final day of last season, was leading 2-1 after 76 minutes, only for goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel to punch the ball into his own net. Substitute Gareth Bale scored in the 87th and again in stoppage time as Leicester poured forward in search of a winner.

West Ham beat Southampton 3-0 to finish in sixth place to qualify for the Europa League and Tottenham's win at Leicester ensured the team got into the new Europa Conference League.

Sergio Aguero marked his final Premier League game for Manchester City by scoring twice as a substitute in the champions' 5-0 win against Everton.

Harry Kane finished as the league's top scorer, for the third time, on 23 goals — one ahead of Liverpool's Mohamed Salah — after scoring at Leicester. The striker also had more assists than anyone else, with 14.

Arsenal failed to qualify for European competition for the first time in 25 years after finishing in eighth place, a point behind north London rival Tottenham, despite beating Brighton 2-0.

There were also wins for Manchester United, Newcastle, Leeds and Sheffield United.

Huge run home for Liverpool definitely the form side of the comp the last month or so.

After everything that has gone wrong this year to finish 3rd is incredible.

Already looking forward to getting everyone back including the fans and having a crack at the League again.

Well done to City but we will be coming again.

                      Re: EPL Season 2020/21

Liverpool supporter here (have been since Craig Johnson scored that FA Cup final goal) but this last third of the season has been so hard to deal with. For example, when Alisson scored that 95th minute winner, I should've been ecstatic but instead I've just been thinking "okay, that was cool, moving on". Part of me truly believes that all the clubs that tried to break away should be banned from Europe for 5 years and the 6 english clubs should be thrown out of the football leagues, and because of that, I just don't think I have the desire to be happy that they've qualified for the CL next year.
