    Euro 2021

51 games of football in a month. What’s not to love! It feels like winter again that we get to watch football in the middle of the night in freezing temperatures. Can’t wait for the kick off tomorrow morning.

    1) Who are you supporting?

    2) Who do you think will win?

    3) Player of the tournament?

    1) toss up between Germany and England as they have the most Chelsea boys.

    2) i think Italy will surprise and take it out. Mancini is probs the best manager in the comp and has them playing as a real team.

    3) Mbappe or Haaland. The heir apparents to Ronaldo/Messi will take this tournament by the scruff of the neck.

Cant wait either, should be awesome.

That time of year alright. Time of year where I can’t decide whether to go to bed or stay up, watch and not function during the day. With euros, NHL and NBA playoffs I’m getting nothing done.

Haaland would be nice if Norway qualified

1.) No Norway so England. Got a decent squad but surely they’ll choke at some point right!?
2.) France. Just too many stars in that side.
3.) I’m going KDB. He’s my favourite player, so creative in awesome form I reckon Belgium will go ok.

Oh my how the hell did they not qualify?

In that case I’m going De Bruyne.

Looked very sharp. Some of their runs were sublime. Berardi, Immobile and Insigne work well together. Turkey were pretty average to be honest. I’ve seen none of the qualifying games so going in cold I expected them to be better.

                    Re: Euro 2021

                    a) Supporting the Azzurri and very happy with this mornings outing. They have been in splendid form in qualifying and the lead up but there was still a lot of doubt after the horror show that was missing the last World Cup. However, they played consistent with their recent form line and completely dominated from the outset. Turkey sat way too deep and invited a lot of pressure. Bonus to get goals to both Insigne and Immobile to boost their confidence who will be crucial if the Azzurri are to go deep.

                    b) France. How much talent in one squad? It's an embarrassment of riches. Football is a funny game that the better team can always be beaten, especially in knock out tournaments, but the only way they don't win it is if they implode internally (definitely possible if history is your guide) or they lose a game in unlucky circumstances.

                    c) Usually a midfielder takes it out. So unless a strike goes on a goal fest I think it will be Kante.

Thankfully Eriksen is ok. Scarey scenes.

Very distressing scenes. Glad he's ok.

Have gotten Optus connected especially for this tournament.

                            1. North Macedonia
                            2. Poland
                            3. Lewandowski
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Agree. So happy to hear he is OK. Such an important reminder to us all of the importance of CPR and having a defibrillator just in case.
