Quite a few players have made themselves unavailable.

I'm not sure how I feel about it. Obviously they are quite entitled to earn themselves good money over in the IPL, and many have families they they won't see for many months when touring. But opting out of playing for your country because you have spent months away playing IPL doesn't sit well with me. Obliviously every players situation is different and these are unique circumstances at the moment, but it does feel like some have chosen cash over country.

WI have cleaned up Australia in the T20 series. Pretty weak effort.

I watched some of it. Some of the bowlers were really bad and our batting was poor.
A bit of work to do to shake off any rust.

Seems about right. We usually do pretty well in ODIs and suck at T20.

We really haven't got the right formula for the T20 games. 3 wicket keepers being selected is out of whack.
I'm also not sure why we play Ashton Turner who's been in poor form for so long.

Here's an OK article outlining some of the issues, fairly and squarely pointing at team management for improvement after a two year decline. Should Langer be renewed mid-2022?
