    WTC Final 2021

    Been some interesting cricket played between all the rain.

    Why you'd play such a prestigious game in the UK I'll never understand. You'd have a better chance of getting 5 days uninterrupted if you played it in Ballarat.
    Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

      Pant keeping like he's never had the gloves on before. Looks genuinely surprised when he takes one cleanly.

          The rain has really lost the interest for mine. Haven’t watched a ball bowled, and like you, why play it in England ? Always guaranteed to get a bit of rain.
          I will never see #16 the same!!

              It has been a complete fizzer, ball dominating bat. NZ were going at less than 2 an over yesterday for large parts.
              Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

                  Well, the extra day meant we got a result. New Zealand's 5 man pace attack were way too good for India in those conditions, blowing them away today to set up what could have been a nervy run chase if not for the calm heads of Williamson and Taylor. Fitting that 2 of the all time great NZ batsman were there at the end.

                      Great work by the Black Caps. Great too see two of their greatest batsmen bring them home. They have really turned into a well oiled machine with no real weaknesses. The addition of Jamieson means they have a strong four pronged pace attack with additional support through de Grandhomme, Santner and others. Don’t like to give those across the ditch too much of a wrap but well done and really pleased for them.
