What's everyone's view on the performance, and then future or Justin Langer?

If this is the type of stuff he's posting on the walls of LinkedIn, I'm worried about what they'll find smeared on the walls of his hotel room once he's done with quarantine.

Hypoethically, the ACB will come out and publicly back him.

A month later he may be replaced.

He may have lost the players, which is a concern. This new age way of engaging and empathy with players. To connect to their wave length. May not suite some coaching styles.

Langer might have served his purpose without really having us playing the sort of cricket we are capable of.
I hadn't thought of Ponting as our coach but it could be an inspired selection.
Is Andrew McDonald in the mix?

The jungle drums are beating loudly that his days might be numbers and the players want someone else.
Given the way the team has performed it's hard to justify his dismissal

There was some talk that he would keep the test team and McDonald would get the limited over formats but even now that seems unlikely.

The players have knifed him, for better or worse, that's what's happened and his tenure is untenable.

The player view would be they're performing well because he was forced to take a back seat role in how they prepare and how they play.

This England side is so putrid we could organise a mass punch up of Woofers at the Yarraville Nets and after the melee when we're all bruised, battered and crawling over YHF's broken corpse we could still assemble an 11 to touch up the English team.

That's how bad they are.

Justin Langer has put his already tenuous position as national cricket coach in further jeopardy after melting down in a meeting with Cricket Australia.

The CA board is likely to take a dim view of Langer’s behaviour when it meets to discuss his tenure on Friday.

I'm not sure what else Langer could have done in terms of results but it seems he may have lost the support of the players. He shouldn't have to reapply for his job should he?
