My mate is from from the Western side of Wales, he sounds more like a scouser than a Welshman!
Reckon maybe Geraint Jones was the last one, and Robert Croft a bit further back too

Ah nice Gloucester way.

I went into a Tesco in Caernarvon which is North West, and they were all speaking Welsh to each other.

When I ordered in English I'm not sure I was that popular ha.

I loved Wales. King Edward built of a ring of amazing Castles to keep them under control, Pembroke, Caerphilly, Caernarvon they are brilliant.

Edit : Conwy was Edward. Caerphilly and Pembroke were not him but same period. All amazing.

St David's Cathedral right on the south western side is one of my favs in Britain and I've been to nearly all of them
Had a real feel about it.
