Chelsea have had nightmare season. Need to get the manager sorted out. Frank Lampard is a Chelsea champion but managing an EPL club probably isn't for him. They have a quality team but just aren't performing.

Last match of the EPL season against Fulham at home then it is the FA Cup final against Manchester City.
Such a relief to secure top 4 Easty! Now to hit the transfer market with our unknown owners cash.

See what happens with the ownership situation with us. Hopefully get it sorted and move forward from there. The Glazers still a thorn in the side.

        Re: EPL 2022-2023 Season

Last day of the EPL season tomorrow morning.

A lot of dead rubber games. Very happy Man Utd secured Champions League football in midweek so we can relax.

The big games will be Leicester v West Ham, Leeds v Tottenham and Everton v Bournemouth. 2 out of Everton, Leeds and Leicester will join Southampton in the Championship next season.

And that’s the end of my mighty Saints .
It’s quite a surprising 3 to go down.
All pretty good clubs but just couldn’t get any sort of run going.
Sad to see a club who won it 7 years ago drop . I wonder if that’s happens before so quickly .
A few top clubs just going through the motions.
I’ve always said if you’re going to have a bet on EPL wait until the last round you get the big upsets .

Blackburn were relegated 4 years after winning the title in 1995 - in fact they were almost relegated 2 years after the title.

The Toffees have more lives than a cat. They are too big a club to be scrapping for relegation almost every 2nd season.

Portsmouth are a cautionary tale for Southampton.

              Next door neighbours.

Man City got relegated the season after they won the first division a long time ago.

Worst part about relegation is clubs picking over the carcass and taking your best players.

                        Maddinson will be gone ski.

Shoe's on the other foot for me currently however don't feel good about it.

On the contrary some of my favourite memories are from the championship seasons!

Happy with the season finishing 2nd. Dropped a couple and some draws stuffed up our chance to win it. Now to hit the recruiting and bring in some more top line players to really challenge next year
