Champions League: Who has reached the knockout rounds


The Champions League group stage is complete and all teams have booked their places in the round of 16.

The group winners and runners-up will go into the Champions League round of 16; third place drops into the Europa League knockout round to face group runners-up from that competition; and fourth is knocked out completely.



QUALIFIED AS GROUP WINNERS: Bayern Munich, Benfica, Chelsea, FC Porto, Manchester City, Napoli, Real Madrid, Tottenham Hotspur

QUALIFIED AS GROUP RUNNERS-UP: AC Milan, Borussia Dortmund, Club Brugge, Eintracht Frankfurt, Inter Milan, Liverpool, Paris Saint-Germain, RB Leipzig

DROPS INTO UEL: Ajax, Barcelona, Bayer Leverkusen, FC Salzburg, Juventus, Sevilla, Shakhtar Donetsk, Sporting CP

Champions League round of 16 draw: Seedings, date, time, round details

The draw for the round of 16 of the 2022-23 UEFA Champions League will be made at 11 a.m. GMT / 6 a.m. ET on Monday, Nov. 7.

Group winners will be drawn against group runners-up. Teams from the same national association cannot face each other, nor can teams who played each other in the group stage of this season's competition.

Group winners will be away in the first leg, with ties to be played on Feb. 14, 15 and 21, 22. Return legs will be played on March 7, 8 and 14, 15.

The teams confirmed in the draw are:

Qualified as group winners: Bayern Munich, Benfica, Chelsea, FC Porto, Manchester City, Napoli, Real Madrid, Tottenham Hotspur

Qualified as runners-up: AC Milan, Borussia Dortmund, Club Brugge, Eintracht Frankfurt, Inter Milan, Liverpool, Paris Saint-Germain, RB Leipzig

UEFA will draw the quarterfinal and semifinal ties on March 17.

The final will take place on Saturday, June 10 at Ataturk Olympic Stadium, Istanbul in Turkey.



Europa League knockout round draw: Seedings, date, round details

The draw for the knockout round playoff, also known as the round of 32, of the 2022-23 UEFA Europa League will be made at midday GMT / 7 a.m. ET on Monday, Nov. 7.

The runners-up from the eight Europa League groups will be drawn to play the third-placed teams who have dropped down from the Champions League.

Teams from the same national association cannot face each other.

The eight Europa League runners-up will be seeded and will be away in the first leg, with ties to be played on Feb. 16 and 23.

Qualified as UEL group runners-up: AS Monaco, AS Roma, FC Midtjylland, Manchester United, Nantes, PSV Eindhoven, Stade Rennais, Union Berlin

Qualified from UCL: Ajax, Barcelona, Bayer Leverkusen, FC Salzburg, Juventus, Sevilla, Shakhtar Donetsk, Sporting CP

The Europa League group winners do not take part in this round and advance direct to the round of 16, to be played on March 9 and 16. The draw for this round will be held on Feb. 24.

Europa League group winners: Arsenal, Fenerbahce, Ferencvaros, Feyenoord, Freiburg, Real Betis, Real Sociedad, Union Saint-Gilloise

UEFA will then draw the quarterfinal and semifinal ties on March 17.

The final will take place in Hungary at the Puskas Arena, Budapest on Wednesday, May 31.

Man Utd finish runner up in the Europa League group stage which means will be playing a team who was knocked out of the Champions League and finished 3rd in the group stage in the last 32 of the Europa League.

Real Madrid 5-2 win over Liverpool at Anfield

Napoli 2-0 win over Frankfurt

Big game in the Europa League for Man Utd against Barca back at Old Trafford this week. We drew with Barca 2-2 in the first leg at Nou Camp last week.
