The only trouble with that is if you bat someone like Maxwell at 8 he will end up batting like a number 8.

To me if he is not in the top 6 then he shouldn't play, his bowling is handy not a lot better than that at the longer forms of the game.

Have no read whatsoever on Sri Lanka’s red ball form.

Currently sitting fourth in the Test Championship with 3 wins from just 6 tests in the current cycle. The wins were only against West Indies at home and Bangladesh away though. Lost 2 tests to India away.

Always tough at home on their spinning decks though.
