Unreal game last night, Hobart made 229 with 4 players making runs only to have this score run over with 3 balls to go with Matt Short making 100 and Chris Lynn making 68.

Did anyone see that catch from Will Sutherland? It's one of the best I have seen.

Perth Scorchers win the BBL and they unearth another all-rounder in Cooper Connolly who at 19 held his nerves and helped steer them home. Good contest.

I've never been that much of a fan of BBL but this season there were some excellent contests.

I watched a bit of the BBL this season and yes agree GVG there were some very good matches. Perth Scorchers very strong. 5 BBL titles the most in the competition.

After just days 17 days of test cricket the BBL best season every filled the void. Scorchers were way too good.

Not a big fan of the BBL. But that the Stars are the only franchise not to ever win the title is at least good.
