    Our Socceroos best ever team?

As we enter the World Cup and very much an underdog status I was wondering if you could select the best ever Socceroos
team who would be playing (and the formation) who is the manager and how would that best of the best team perform in this world cup?

Robbie Slater put this team forward a couple of years back

Bosnich, Moore, Neil, Popovic, Chipperfield, Wiltshire, Cahill, Zelic, Kewell, Viduka, Emerton

    Postecoglou as the Manager.

    Thoughts?

    Bosnich and Schwarzer I'd swap.

Also would want Bresciano in there mainly for the fact he fresh aired Arnie when dragged in a game.

    Cahill, Kewell, Viduka no brainers.

Aloisi and Skoko would be close too for me.

Slater should put himself in. He was a jet.

The team is a bit weak in the central/defensive midfield area but good in the front half.

        ----------Schwarzer----------------
        Wilkshire---Moore---Neil---Chipperfield
        --------------Okon-------------------
        Emerton---Bresciano-----Kewell
        -----Viduka------------Cahill-------

        Ange the manager.

Zelic misses out due to quitting on Socceroos.

I wouldn't have Zelic on account of the limited amount of games he played.

If he didn't want to play with us then we shouldn't be picking him in Socceroos teams.

          I'd have Charlie Yankos instead.

Alan Davidson is stiff to miss out too.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Emerton a lock as it can't be a gun Aussie side without him running to 30m out and putting it 30m over the bar.
