    Lacrosse into the Olympics

Looks like LACROSSE is going to come into the Games.

An interesting sport, with strong roots in Melbourne?s west, across Footscray, Altona and Willy in particular.

I occasionally tune into the streams of the national championships and local Box Lacrosse games. Worth a look of you love love sport and will watch anything.

It's a great game, really enjoy it. It's Canada's national sport.

I went to Willy High SOS and Lacrosse was a popular sport played there.

My wife’s whole family played. All played for Australia. Love the game … fastest sport on two feet (as they say)

Given your background and strong family links to Lacrosse I hope you and the family watched the Grizzlies.

            I enjoyed that show.

There’s a similar doco in the works locally about indigenous kids from SA playing hockey and travelling to Canada.

It is now official Lacrosse is on the program, in its Sixes format.

Should give the local leagues and club a boost.
