Should Australia make sure England don't progress?

Would that mean losing to Scotland? Not for me. Rest a few guys, give players a hit who haven't had one, but you can't throw a game.

This Scotland side is genuinely pretty good, so I'm sure they'll be right up for the contest anyway.

I wonder what Warner and Wade are like with the new ball? and Hazlewood, Zampa, Ellis and Agar may need to come in early, just in case they need some time in the middle come the Semi's.

Decent start from Scotland, batting first 1-45 off 5, Agar opening the bowling and snagging a wicket in the first over, Australia only going in with two fast bowlers Starc and Ellis.

Scotland eyeing a score around 200, the Aussies putting down 5 catches although a few were tough chances, bowling the 3 spinners was an interesting call given the pitch is giving bugger all to spin.

Australia will need 181 to win, some good hitting especially up the order from Scotland but a good comeback from the Aussies with those last 5 overs on a good batting pitch.

Yeah i have been watching bits of some games, only watch it on Prime because we have my wife's parents log in, i'm not mad about the T20 format (more of a traditionalist) but the majority don't get to watch us in a cricket World Cup.

Same, I prefer Test Cricket, but world cups are always different.

To be honest this World Cup is a terrible set up , it’s all about catching the USA market and it’s degraded it.
Horrible sides playing top sides isn’t a great format if you want to show off the game to a new market.

Thing is some of the minnows are actually playing well, Paki's, NZ and Sri Lanka are out, Scotland were a bee's diaphragm away from getting through with England missing.
