ODI series - Australia v Pakistan

Australia are cruising to victory with a good partnership between Inglis and Smith. Inglis is starting to look a complete international player and this is the best Smith has looked in a little while.

He's a fine batsman isn't he? Looks at home in limited over cricket games.

Game on! Rauf can really ramp it up.

Keen to see Hardie under pressure - he has the chance to bring it home.

Unreal the way we can let things slip from a strong position. Pakistan have really lifted though.

Can we please let Fraser-McGurk go back to state cricket and work out how to play? Trying to slap the cover off everything doesn't work at this level.

I thought it was Adam Zampa batting, no foot movement what so ever and looked very much like a tail end batsman with a scratchy technique.

Maxwell another duck, well at least he lasted two balls this time, that's a positive....right? Not sure the Aussies are really taking this ODI series seriously making 5 changes due to players getting ready for the Test series, that said the Paki's just look a class above especially with the ball.

He really needs to learn how to change gears and build an innings. I doubt he will get that message unless the coaches insist on it.

It's embarrassing at the moment. Would the selectors drop him?

That shouldn't be the role of international coaches.

He has very basic flaws that should be worked out at the level below - international cricket is a finishing school, not the place to learn that you can't just throw your hands at a 140km swinging ball. He has a List A average below 30 and has passed 50 twice in 22 innings - he shouldn't be considered for the international one-day side until he actually makes domestic List A runs.

Yep he really shouldn't be selected but given he is, then our ODI/T20 coaches should be working with the state level guys when they send him back. He's got talent but he's too big of a risk and isn't going to learn a lot at the moment.

I guess with the amount of changes and younger players coming into the side, he had to play this game however he's not earning a place in the side at the moment, JFM also needs to go back and work on his game, looks a mile off.

Our batting is very poor. Need to bowl well now or else this will be a quick finish.

Pakistan is none for 70, we will need to see something special to get back into the game.

                              No chance now.
