    Hull?

    A few questions about Hull.

Are they playing great football or are they simply over achieving?
    Can they keep it up?

    Where will they likely finish?

They rode their luck last weekend v WBA in the 1st half. Earlier this season they were beaten 5-0 at home by Wigan.

They got a great result away to Arsenal.

I think they will be tested later in the week by a rampant Chelsea; expect a flogging.

I think they'll finish 10-14th place, still a great achievement.

Thanks, I'd like to see an underdog push out one of the top 4 sides but perhaps Hull won't last much longer.

I'm not sure of their play but I can tell you other things
Voted worst city in England I believe.
Mate of mine lived there and I went for a few weekends. It was an adventure.

Ever since Danny Allsopp left to come to MV they have gone from strength to strength.
Same happened with Osasuna and John Aloisi

Other mate has a funny story when living near by, a drunk Irish jockey asked him "do ya no the road to Hell?"

They have played pretty well. Have obviously had a fantastic start to the season and really they should be able to keep it up for most of the year. They have a strong attack which works well together and as a whole are very disciplined.

With Spurs and Newcastle being so shitful this year they will probably finish 8th.

Chelsea will beat them by 2-3 goals midweek though.

It is also important for them to not do that well in the cups.

Any side that survives for a second top-flight season has done extremely well.

I remember in 03-04 when Charlton Athletic finished 7th after being promoted, pushed for a Champions League spot for most of the year before falling away. Was a monumental achievement.

Does the 4-3 loss to Manchester United confirm their quality or was it just the luck gods smiling on them again?

Hull did come up with one of the greatest English bands of the '80s.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

I think their results speak for themselves, and that they will be a competitive side this season, tough to beat at home and plucky away. Yep lost their last two against Chelsea and Man U, but that's no disgrace because most teams do. The acid test for most teams though os the Winter period when niggling injuries begin to mount and everone becomes a little more tired. Its here that the larger clubs have the advantage because their squads are deeper.
