    One Day Squads Announced

    See http://www.cricket.com.au/default.as...splay&id=15027

Interesting that S Marsh is included with 3 scores over 30 (highest score 74) in 20 visits to the crease this season

Hughes and Warner have better claim to the spot than Marsh on form. Happy to see Dave Warner hopefully get the two T20 games.

        B. Haddin: NSW, 31
        J. Hopes: QLD, 30
        N. Bracken: NSW, 31
        S. Marsh: WA, 25
        M. Hussey: WA, 33
        D. Hussey: VIC, 31
        N. Hauritz: NSW, 27
        B. Hilfenhaus: TAS, 25

        -----

Surprised Nannes hasn't been picked for the T20 fixtures, he has been in good form for the Vics in this form of the game.

Good to see Ryan Harris get a gig.
Have you heard Butters wants to come to the Dogs?

How did Hauritz get a game in the 20-20?
Sad not to see Macca get a chance in either types of game, hopefully they still pick him for the next test series , I thought he held himself well in his first Test.
Siddle not picked in 20-20 i hope thats just a rest thing because he has been Australias tightest bowler in the Tests.
Dont see Bolinger in either teams, was he just a fill in? Do we think he will play for the Aussies again?

I guess Hopes is opening. I'd have thought we could maybe do better

My guess is it will be Marsh and Warner with Ronchi a chance

                          Re: One Day Squads Announced

From tonight's team you'd expect Haddin, Clarke, Johnson and Symonds (Punters mate) to come in for Hopes, White, Ronchi and hopefully Marsh (Not Warner) for the one dayers proper.

Tait, Johnson, Hilfy and Bracken is a good line up with Clarke, Symo and DHuss as support.

Hopes, White, Siddle, Marsh, Phil Hughes looks to give us some good depth too.

I share that view but like him better at 7 or so.

If Hopes doesn't play does Hussey open?

Symonds isn't even in the squad due to injury

                              Id have

                              James Hopes
                              Shaun Marsh
                              Ricky Ponting (capt)
                              Michael Clarke
                              David Hussey
                              Michael Hussey,
                              Brad Haddin (wk)
                              Nathan Hauritz/Cameron White/Peter Siddle
                              Nathan Bracken
                              Ben Hilfenhaus
                              Shaun Tait

That is every player in the squad.

Hauritz on spinning decks, Siddle on Green tops and White if they need more batting depth to fight for the spot left by Johnson.

Hilfenhaus over Siddle because i don't know how good he is in the shorter format of the game.
