I am not sure Pattinson counts as an international but even if he does we would still be allowed to play another international as Pattinson hasn't played in this season's T20 comp. A bit like Tanvir playing for SA despite Younis Khan playing for them in the SS and FRC.

Thanks for the info mate, yer it must be something like that. Not sure why the vics havent taken advantage of it then, surely we could have got someone like a Ross Taylor.

You realise that was for the preliminary rounds yeah? Not just the final which is what the whole thread is about?

It's 100% different. Think it may be too late for the Vics to bring in anyone for the final now.

We've spoken with Warnie and Gilly!

This is completely different as well because neither have played cricket with anyone else this season (I suppose they both played IPL, if that counts).

Its an interesting one, its in the rules so yeah good luck to NSW. I think they are maybe more doing it for the domestic championships league where the big bucks are rather than tomorrow nights game.
