I just hope we make enough runs in our first innings to expose the tail.

We have gone on with 4 quicks and Watson and North as the part timers. At least we know that Clark can bottle up an end and keep things tight. We really need to get them out for under 350.

I dont know if i would call all them tail Broad and Swann are pretty good batsman and Anderson i think holds his own if he has a good bat at the other end.

England are 2 for 18 and we must keep pressing home the advantage especially with Strauss gone.

6-72 at lunch. Simply have to win from here.

              Clark has 3.

Great work by Clark to get 3/7. I defended him before the series but didn't pick him to do this well

They need to knock them over in the next session.

Clark is bowling very well and darting the ball around nicely.

Clark was always the type of bowler to do well in England, just as McGrath was. Tight, ball keeps low enough that you have to play at anything on a length just outside off. Takes wickets for not many runs. What more can you ask for?

Was also our best bowler over the past few years before his injury and Johnson stepping up.

Disgrace that he hasn't played up till now.

Siddle is bowling much better so far today. I am not sure who was in his ear earlier in the series but he had gone away from what made him so good. Good to see him settling on a consistent line and length then working off that today. Being aggressive towards the tail is fine but good batsmen will pick you off. I think they got into his head that he needed to be some sort of enforcer.

Gee the BBC Test Match Special guys are pissed off with the English bowling.
The fight is here; I need ammunition, not a ride.

After bowling the Poms out for 102 and then losing Katich for nothing both Ponting and Watson have been hitting a number of boundaries. Currently 1 for 57.
