    So should a truck driver or a courier or any other person who rely on the ability to be able to drive for their work have claims to a similar allowance if convicted as a drink-driver?

        Only if they bat at three for the Bulls, or play CHF for the Crows on their weekends off.

        All this decision does is re-inforce the fact that sportspeople are above the law.
