Cross Street To Debut At Caulfield

A number of Bulldog supporters have had a couple of horses they have raced before; Minson, which won a few & Burley Griffen.

The one they really like & think will go well is Cross Street which makes its debut on Saturday in the Group 3 McNeil Stakes at Caulfield.

Its drawn badly in barrier 13 & first up in a group race that's a tall order, but he wouldn't have been entered if the stable didn't think he was up to it.

For those interested in a little flutter its race 4, horse 13. The trainer is David Hayes & Craig Williams is onboard.

Debuting in a G3 Feature? He must be rated highly.

Might be worth a few each way even if its jumping from 13.

I remember walking into a TAB one day and looking at the next race & seeing Minson on the board paying $27. It was a heavy track and the jockey was wearing the bulldogs colours. That had to be an omen bet & had 20 each way. Is Cross Street wearing the doggies colours?

I assume that Cross Street is uber-tall and can run all day.

Probably the only horse who refuses to kick though.
