Nice century by Paine and he's shaping up as a genuine contender to replace Haddin.
I just watched the fox replay/highlights of the game. Paine looks like a solid citizen and should be given a chance to make the spot his. But Haddin will take his spot and find new ways of giving his wicket away and missing catches and stumpings.

We have 7 ODI against India in October and it will be interesting to see if Haddin is fit enough.

I must admit I'd like to see the Australians include Henriques for that series. Hopes has done a bit with both bat and ball but potentially Henriques could be better.

I agree, it's time for a mini rebuild and see what the next level has got. Topping up with Nannes (i love him but), Hopes, Manou and co is too short sighted. Warner looked ok before getting an early exit. Hughes loked brilliant but got the same treatment. Siddle and Hilfy need to be persisted with as does Paine. But all of this is common sense and we are talking about Hilditch afterall...

Ferguson averaging 70 in the series, the form player, gets dropped for Hussey. Why blood new players only to let them succeed and them drop them for underperforming mates. I don't know why i keep bothering.
