    Young Galaxy

I see that the son of Glenn 'Galaxy' Coleman has been named in Australia's under 19 squad
Jackson Coleman is a right hand bat and left arm medium fast bowler.

By the way, the AFL side he supports is the Western Bulldogs.

I'll keep an eye on his progress.

The side is captained by Mitchell Marsh

His dad didn't play enough games for F/S, so it's probably better that he's good at cricket and not footy.

Lucky the old 50 game F/S rule is no longer still in vogue, otherwise he would've had a choice of 3 clubs to go to.

Am I right in thinking that Gal is the only player to play 50 games for 3 clubs?

He was retired when we drafted him too.

Yep. It saves us some grief and we can still cheer the kid on.

What state is he from mate?
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Bernand Toohey would be close too (50 at 3 clubs).

            Edit-no 34, 129 and 40

Were those 40 for us? Fair effort in two seasons.

There a fair few players who played 100 at two clubs, Dempsey, Hampshire and Paul Hudson are ones that played for us that come to mind, but Gal is all by himself in the 3 x 50 club.

Martin Pike would have been pretty close too.

                  Close, but no:

                  106 with Brisbane
                  81 with North
                  36 with Fitzroy
                  24 with Melbourne

Galaxy is the only player to achieve that feat (64 with Fitzroy, 61 with Sydney & 69 with the Bulldogs), next closest is Brent Crosswell who played 98 with Carlton, 76 with North & 48 with Melbourne.

Lets hope that young Jackson is good enough to play for Australia one day, we need another Doggies supporter in the side.

Sounds like the future of Australian cricket is in good hands.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Banga's turn out to be a very good side within the next decade.
