    Murali to retire from Tests

I thought this deserved a thread, putting aside any of your personal thoughts on the bloke. He will play one more test against India but will continue to pick and choose One Dayers in the hope of playing in the World Cup. There's no dancing around the obvious criticism around his action but putting this aside he remains one of the two greatest spinners of all time. He is currently on 792 Test match wickets and I'll be cheering for him to get the 800.
    Congratulations on a magnificent career.

I don't think anyone will get near his record.

Especially as we won't be playing near as many tests a year as we used to.

A shame to see him chuck it in.

Can some knowledgeable WOOFer explain to me, once and for all, the bowling laws? I've read some things that say straightening the arm is illegal, and others that say bending it is illegal. I'm not a follower, haven't really done so since I was a kid, and just get confused by what I hear and read. Help me out, people!

              Very good
If you kicked five goals and Tom Boyd kicked five goals, Tom Boyd kicked more goals than you.
