    Re: 2010/11 NBA season

Anyone see the smackdown Lebron put on Cleveland today.
    So shattered for that City.
They were so up for him to throw up on himself.
The man is just a beast.

Might just be the confidence boost the Heat need to resurrect their season.

Oh, it's regular season. James is the ultimate frontrunning prima donna, especially in meaningless games beating up on hapless teams. The day he pulls it out in a game that counts, against opponents who are actually any good (how does it feel being Boston's bitch?), will be the day we all say, about flippin' time you dickhead, then dismiss it as him being lucky that he's playing in Wade's team anyway. Loser.

So there are 2 spots (Charlotte will struggle to make it) up for grabs.

Let me know if you think any of these teams are good.

Toronto, Indiana, Charlotte, NY, Washington (lol). Detroit
Well there are only 8 that will get through, I'm guessing Boston, Orlando, Atlanta & Miami will get through no arguments there.
Bulls shouldn't have any trouble making it.

The Bucks have a great roster with a solid bench which is important, Knicks are showing form good enough to sneak a spot IMO.

So probably only one spot left for Indiana? Cavs (who are nowhere near where they were but can jag a berth with a first round exit)? Philly? maybe a Charlotte?

Knicks are playing much much better than I thought they could so I will leave it with 1 spot left but Indi are playing well.

I think Stoudemire is shutting a few of us up lately. I didn't have him picked as anything too serious at the start of the season.

It's not so much him but the guys around him as well. Raymond Felton is playing so well in the system, Gallo keeps knocking down his shots, Chandler is a total package and Fields goes quietly about his business but delivers. They've got a pretty good core of players right there.

Magic, Suns & Wizards involved in trades, interesting.

The shape of the team should be better but a lot depends on how Gilbert performs. Either way J-Rich will do better than Carter and Lewis so should be a win. very weak for backup PF and C though.

I'm sure if Gilbert pulls a gun in the Magic locker room, Dwight will pick him up and snap him in half.
Trade looks OK on paper, but still defensive liabilities with the exception of Howard.
They should trade for someone like Battier or Ariza who will play a role

Jason Richardson is a much better defender than most people give him credit for.

Saw the Bulls v Celtics in Boston and Heat v Grizzlies in Memphis while O/S a few weeks ago. Amazing standard. LeBron is a genuine star, watching him was like watching Garry Ablett Jr, you want him to stuff the shot, or muck up but he just doesn't. Wasn't enough to beat the Grizzlies that night though who were on the money all night.
