    Ultimate Fighter 12

    Was anyone watching this series?

If George St-Pierre even wants to leave the UFC I think he would make a great recruitment and develop manager in the AFL.

Ha. His coaching ability was on a different level to Koscheck, the way he brought in experts in different disciplines and actually trained beside his students.

Kos just barked at them and taught them wrestling it seemed.

If GSP comes over for UFC127 (not to fight obviously) I'd love it if the Bulldogs got on the front foot and invited him to training for some grappling work. It'd be a great PR coup and I'm sure the lads would enjoy it.

I think the right guy won it today.

What did you think of the way he bluffed Koscheck when they were selecting their teams?

As it was GSP got the top 2 fighters.

It was clever, but Koscheck is the ultimate meathead jock. Even better, Kos used the first pick on a guy who got choked out twice - the first time in about 20 seconds!

Agree with everything written, but the last couple of series had been a little tired and Koscheck really sparked things up this time...

          UF12 has been really entertaining.
What should I tell her? She's going to ask.

The coaching level was off the chart for GSP's team. He's a pro, he put his team ahead of himself and just focussed on making them better. It was never about him and always about the team. Nearly everyone on that team will be a better fighter for the experience.

As for Kos, he tried to make it the Josh Koscheck hour. Didn't worry about his team and seemed more interested in getting his face on the screen. His team didn't learn a lot and it appeared some went backwards because of his piss poor coaching. I felt sorry for a few of them, better coach and teh results may have been different.

Very happy Brookins took it out. Seems like a great guy! I hope he works a lot harder on his standup because he could be a champ some day.

              How about a spoiler alert!!!!

I think the right guy definitely won. I think he's an animal and has a lot to offer. I was pretty impressed that Johnson was able to go the distance with him. I didn't rate Johnson too highly. He was like a shark. Aggressive and quick, but catatonic on his back. So he obviously improved a great deal.

I reckon the fighters on TUF always tend to take on the personalities of their coaches to a degree. Koscheck's team acted like douchebags and GSP's just got on with the job. It's hard to know if that's really what went on, or whether it was selective editing, but it seemed like that's how it was.

I was a bit surprised by the Nam Phan hate on his team. There were a few legitimate
d!ckheads on that team, but he wasn't one of them for mine.

Loved Marc Stevens getting choked out twice. What a tool.

Loved even more how GSP never once rose to Koscheck's baiting. Just smiled, walked away. You could tell it drove Josh bonkers. I agree with mjp in that, love him or hate him, at least Koscheck makes you want to watch.

I think GSP will win, but I give Koscheck a chance. He's pretty tough and can fight.

Also, anyone else shocked, SHOCKED to see how Cody won his fight?

It's heavyweights. Don't do Heavyweights again unless you can get a house full of Velasquez's and Dos Santos's.

Noone wants to see fat guys gas out three minutes in. Noone.
