    Bundesliga vs EPL

I know that the majority of soccer fans wont see it this way but I'm leaning towards preferring to watch Bundesliga games rather than the EPL.

The main reasons for this is I think there is more sides that could realistically win the championship plus they seem to have bigger stadiums and in some ways more atmosphere

I'm also of the impression that the Bundesliga is the stronger league financially, not in revenue but in the solvency of the teams in the competition.

Is anyone else a fan on the Bundesliga?

If i had to pick a team from Germany, my favourite would be Werder Bremen.

I actually enjoy watching Serie A, compared to any other competition.

Don't you think the thing that lets the EPL down is basically it's nearly always down to 3 sides?
Sure not every team can win it in the Bundesliga but I do think it's a more even competition.

Its all about money, same as in Spain, Italy & Scotland with the same teams featuring in the top few spots each year, still love the EPL though, there's just something about it.

All European comps are the same with only a maximum 5 teams in with a chance of winning the comp.

I follow the EPL and Seria A most but keep an eye on all comps.

EPL is best to watch while the Seria A has lost a lot in the last 5 years with corruption rife

To be honest the Bundesliga does not get much coverage here so hard to know much about it

One Hd show a live game each week, as well as replaying it. They do the same with Serie A

I went to a game in Frankfurt a couple of years ago which was fun. It was the local derby with Mainz although both teams were lower level at the time. Haven't really kept up with it but that's mainly due to a lack of time to sit down and watch the games.

It's not that even. Borussia Dortmund are on top and lead second place Bayer Leverkusen by 11 points at the halfway mark of the season. They are dominating the comp.

EPL for mine, although the live telecasts and more TV exposure of Serie A and Bundesliga on TV have me more interested in the German and Italian comps these days. I try and use sopcast to watch EPL games online but the Polish commentry can make i a bit difficult.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

EPL has had 3 different winners in last 10 years, Bundesliga had 5.

As someone who does not have foxtel, I have really enjoyed watching Bundesliga and Serie A on OneHD

To my way of thinking in the EPL realistically there is just 3 sides capable of winning it and perhaps this season Man City is in the mix however, in most seasons in the Bundesliga there is 4 or 5 sides with the chance.
The crowds are bigger and I read somewhere it doesn't cost the German fans anywhere near as much to attend their games as it does for the EPL fans. With that in mind I think it's a very good product in comparison to the EPL.

At the start of each season in the EPL I just wonder which side out of Chelsea or Man United
will win it which pretty much all other sides are just attacking and focusing on other milestones.
That sort of view shouldn't be regarded as a good thing.

All of them are very good Comps but with no salary cap the big teams always win.

On a selfish note i hope Chelsea start winning some games cause I am going to watch them on the 2nd jan against Villa.

Also of topic i have seen Messi live at the Nou Camp ( not sure on spelling) and he is by far the best player in the game

Give me the League Championship anyday.

One of the best leagues in the world that isn't controlled by dominate bank-rolled clubs (they'd go up to the EPL if they were). Talented, skillful and at least half the field can win in any given year. Being a relegated EPL team doesn't veen guarantee you survival in the Championship the following year . Love it.

                          Yep, me.

Love watching it and Setanta show plently of it on a sunday too, which is great.

Easily the number 2 league in the world and has some fantastic football.

Adopted Schalke 04 as my team to keep an eye on.
