    The Ashes - 4th Test

    Huge day of cricket ahead.

Australia lost the toss and have been asked to bat first.
Australia unchanged and England have rested Finn and replaced him with Bresnan.

Ponting confirmed he would have bowled first if he won the toss.

We need to get off to a solid start.

Lucky let off for Pieterson there. I know he didnt get the wicket but Anderson is bowling well.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Not playing a spinner is going to come back and bite us on the arse IMO, especially with England batting last. I don't see the point of playing 4 quicks when you have an all rounder who can bowl as well as Watson.
      The curse is dead.

        Aussies strugling at 3 for.
Hughes just not up to it,Ponting should be down the order and could be Clarkes last chance.

4/58 at lunch. Huge wicket that, getting Hussey cheaply. Good nut by Anderson.

Huge wicket and once again England have bowled well in our first batting session.

All 8 caught behind the wicket. Anderson has taken 4/11 this spell.

                All out for 98.

Lack of application & technique on a pitch 'doing a bit' has been seen once again... You would think that we need to take 4 or 5 this session to get back into it.

We traditionally haven't been good on these types of tracks and whilst the English attack is a good one they aren't a great attack. As you say we will need some wickets early on.

My mother told me not to say anything if I had nothing nice to say. Plus if I say what I want to G might kick me off the site.

                            Embarrassing.

This must be what it feels like to barrack for Richmond.
