    Re: Fernando Torres

Torres continues to frustrate and I have officially given up on him, looks like he will be making way for Falcao anyway.

I've never seen a striker so reluctant to get into scoring positions. It's just so bizarre. The reason Torres' scoring record is so poor at Chelsea is not just the ones he misses but the reluctance to gamble and anticipate like any other striker. He seems to have no desire or hunger to score goals. If that's just a confidence thing or not I don't know.

If he has just lost his pace then he needs to adapt his game, like great players do.

He'll be a good get Falcao. I haven't seen much of him in his time at Spain but saw quite a bit of him at Porto & thought he was a gun. I don't recall anyone in the world at the moment who is as deadly in front on goal with his head quite like Falcao. I was surprised there wasn't a line of Premier league clubs trying to get him out of Portugal. He will be a hit at Chelsea if he ends up there.

Is news increasing on Costa potentially coming? Rumours starting that Spurs are after Lukaku, would Chelsea really sell him?

            Re: Fernando Torres

Costa's starting to sound a cert(if I was a betting man I'd have him and Shaw as our first two signings this summer)....which is pretty exciting as he would fit this team like a glove and is a beast with a huge amount of mongrel in him.

I can't see us selling Lukaku with out giving him a chance first(maybe a Jan sale is more realistic), plus we need at least 2 hopefully 3 decent CF's in our squad. But after what happened with Mata nothing would surprise me, as long as better quality comes back in I'm fine with it.

Costa, Lukaku and Eto'o would be perfect IMO.

PS after what happened with Modric I'm not sure we would want to deal with Levy again.

yeah thats my thoughts too. Modric and the director guy Frank Arnsen(sp?) I can't imagine business being done with a smile.

And now Milan don't want him. Too bad they've agreed to pay his wages for the next 2 seasons.

Sold him for 50, four years later we get him back for free. Now that's good business.

He can come home anytime, Chelsea ruined him he should never have left.

It's pretty good business for West Ham ATM. It will all end in tears though.
