How are Storm expected to go this season, and which other teams are meant to be around the mark?

I enjoy watching the NRL, but don't really keep an eye on the news during the off-season.

The previous years Premiers are always favourites, so St George Illawarra should be up there. I think the New Zealand Warriors might do well too, and of course Melbourne Storm. I think we'll "fly under the radar" a bit this season as a lot of people think that because we've lost a few players we'll struggle. But we've lost good players every season and done well. Craig Bellamy is an excellent coach and gets the most out of every player. I think we'll finish top 4.

Great result tonight, back to winning points.

Thought Stanley played well all night, with the usual guys like Smith, Slater & co all getting involved.

A strong crowd of 14,651 as well.

So happy we beat Manly. We had the Manly supporters not far from us. It was nice when we got the last try, as they got very quiet.

I thought Chase Stanley & Dane Nielsen played very well, Cam tackled his heart out and Billy was his usual brilliant self.

Looking forward to Saturdays game V Titans.

                GO STORM!!

Big blow for the Storm with Chase Stanley out for the season; requires knee surgery.

                    NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

We thought he was ok. Looked bad in the first half but he kept playing, scored a try.....

                    Poor poor bugger.

We were just about to make a banner for him.

I just saw that we're playing the Warriors in round 7 on Easter Sunday, not on ANZAC Day. I'm a bit disappointed as I thought it was going to be on ANZAC Day each year. I thought the NRL could've capitalised on the crowd leaving the MCG & schedule the game for 6pm -7pm. Oh well.

There has been a change of scheduling which now sees the Storm play at 7pm on ANZAC Day.

Just got back from the game, awesome performance tonight.

The ref was terrible, not happy.

Awesome first half, the second half was awful from Melbourne. I don't have the stats, but how many sets were completed?

12-12 in the second half & both Gold Coast's tries came in the final few minutes, switched off. Pity as the defence was rock solid up till then.

I reckon Bellyache would have torn strips off them after the game.
