Probably the biggest surprises are the dumping of Katich and the install of Cummins which looks a bit premature for me

Mcdonalds papers look just about stamped as well, should be the test number 6 though

Ryan Harris and Brett Lee. Only 1 should be there - Harris but you can't have both.

          Neither Hussey should be there.

Why was Katich dropped? Anything to do with the new captain?

Krejza again? I thought his test career was finished.

Luke Butterworth & James Faulkner from TAS can feel a little unlucky

I thought Brett Lee's last contract was his pension. Now they are surely taking the piss.

Could he hold down the number 6 spot though?

Is White a little lucky given his very poor form ?

Lee and Harris are poor selections and dropping Katich is a surprise.

Before injury he was the form batsmen in the country, a much better option then Smith and a first class average above 40, not a star but he's the type of player we need in a rebuild.

White has made himself a short form mainstay, theres no real replacement in the wings and Im not convinced his slump was anything but that, a slump. Still worth a contract.

Copelands the other one, he doesnt look like much but Im willing to back him in on record alone, should be next cab off the rank for the longer form in my mind.

How does Hilditch still have a contract?

Looks like a pretty good list and the only one I'm miffed about missing is James Faulkner.

He doesn't, he's only maintained his position while Argus continue their review but his contract expired following the World Cup. Any extension will be determined by the findings.

Loved Kattos press conference, didn't miss anybody. The players arent blind to the issues either. Its available here for those interested
