    Will Martin Jol Survive?

    Metinks not!

There has been considerable pressure on the Spurs manager after a poor start to the season. He has already received the chairmans full support (euphemism for his head's on the chopping block), but with two more losses this week his days are surely numbered.

As if losing 3-1 away to Newcastle on Monday wasn't bad enough, the just completed 2-1 home defeat to Getafe in the UEFA Cup is surely the final straw.

    I think he's a dead man walking!

Goneski. If the management are taking pot shots at you when you are winning then they arent going to take recent results well.

The fans seem to love him though.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

So, who will be the new Spurs manager?

Who gives a ****. Until we stop having ****ing arseholes as chairmens we will never amount to anything.

The whole World could see what we needed and our morons headed by a Director of Football who wanted the manager out goes ahead and spends half our budget on our strongest position which only adds to the frustration of our own players..

Then you have our dickhead owner negotiating contracts with managers 1 week into a new season after we finished 5th for the 2nd year in a row. Our most successful period (which is sad in itself) in 20 years.

The rumours are strong that Ramos will come in and manage next season but he is an arseclown if he leaves Seville for the shambles that is Tottenham.

The most disturbing thing is that I am happy that a manager I love is finally leaving as he and Spurs were in a no win situation after Levy decided to play it smart. IF YOU WANTED A NEW MANAGER GET HIM IN BEFORE THE SEASON YOU MORON!

Well said - Agree 100%. The Board have a lot to answer for! Darren bent so far has been an abject failure and our deficiencies - central defence, defensive mid, left flank have still not been resolved - this has been the case now for 5 years!

Last nights performance was horrible. Getaf*cke opened us up like a can of worms so many times it was not funny......they were always goign to score. te fact that Defoe, berb's and towards the end keane could barely manage a shot between them speaks volumes....

I liked Martin Jol. personally I thought he was probably the best manager we have ahd in the last 10 years. Why? Because prior to this season and the dismantling of him by the Board, he got results. So where to now? The Board will most likely appoint Juan de ramos from Seville, the guy they tried to get in august. he will tinker here and tinker there and Spurs will finish mid-table in 2007 and then start the whole rebuilding process again.

I see Ramos has resigned as manager of Seville.

Spurs have launched an investigation as to who leaked Martin Jol's sacking to him via SMS text during the Spurs v Getafe match.

So Tottenham start off with a loss for their new boss.
But more importantly, Blackburn are fifth...wtf?

Reckon Juande Ramos will be good......the omen's are that he will be successful:

1954 25 September – Born Juan de la Cruz Ramos in Pedro Munoz, Ciudad Real, Spain.

Now that is a day that makes me smile!
