After a much improved showing from Clarkes boys on a dustbowl in the first, a fair bit of excitement surrounds this one and the chance to wrap up the series. As always in the sub-continent its going to turn but not to the extent that was seen in Galle (the pitch was cited by the ICC by the way). Australia has the one forced change with Ponting out, congratulations to Shaun Marsh on becoming Australian test player number 422, the rest of the side remains unchanged.

Sri Lanka havent cut back the 13 man squad yet but it looks like Mendis the mystery spinner will get a run (watch out Haddin) over the offie Randiv while Welegedaras fitness will be decided on the morning and could be replaced by the young quick Eranga who impressed in the one dayers.

I cant see the Sri Lankan batting folding like they did in the first test and Im expecting big first innings totals so as always on the sub continent, the toss will be crucial. Im expecting a high scoring draw if the Aussie batsmen can stand up, otherwise we may be in some trouble on a flatter surface.
