Haddin - the most in form middle order batsman at the moment?

IMO he is - will he get a chance this summer as a Test batsman?

      Pity both can't fit in.

I cant see Haddin making it on his batting alone but we are blessed with some good batting keepers at present.

          At the expense of who?
And if that was the case why not move Gilchrist up the order to 6 and play a bowler who can bat like Noffke? We will struggle to get 20 wicks and might need the additional bowler rather than the Symonds style 5th bowler.

Only if they intend to drop the pretence and just put 11 New South Welshmen in there.

If Ponting moved Sydney this could be the way to go.

Did he? Why isn't he playing for the Blues?

He doesn't even play for Tasmania anymore.

And still yet how would he get a game in such a star-studded team?

That's a good point - he'd be carrying the drinks.

David Hussey is the best performed middle order batsmen in the country at the moment.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

If he were picking an Austrlian A team 11 to play the test team would it look something like this? (allowing injured players were actually available to be selected)

                            Rogers
                            Watson
                            Hodge
                            Hussey
                            Katich
                            Voges
                            Haddin
                            Noffke
                            Hogg
                            Tait
Hilfenhaus - assuming Hilfenhaus is the 12th man for the etst team

Made a duck today but it is a one day game. NSW are struggling.
