    2012 French Open

Haven't really got into it but I thought I'll start a thread for any discussion of the tournament.

He's awesome to watch live BAD, so much speed around the court and the clay surface is his specialty. I've liked Rafa from day one, he's my favourite. I love going to the tennis to see him play.

Yes azabob I'm also a Federer fan - he's such a graceful player and just goes about his business. I like them both but Rafa just that little bit more.

The French Open would have to be the most boring event held annually.

It's just a slug fest from the baseline.

I attended an Olympics weightlifting event about twenty years back. I still think about asking for those 5 hours back now and again.

Murray? I don't think so, the dirtballer Ferrer won in four sets

Both matches have the potential to go to five sets.

Nadal has been in brilliant form all tournament, and should be favoured to win the whole lot.

                      BUT

Nole doesn't know how to lose Grand Slam matches, and Nadal doesn't know how to be Nole in grand slam matches!!

Hopefully in the womens side Sam Stosur can keep her nerves in check and get through to the final. Such a mental game for her.

In the Men's Semis Nadal is through to the final after beating Ferrer my mistake in saying before that Nadal was playing Murray in the Semis. Djokovic is one set up against Federer and the second set look close in the other men's semi.

Maria Sharapova wins the French Open Women's Final quite easily. Who do you think will win out of Djokovic and Nadal? It promises to be another great gram slam final.
