Looking forward to the Super Cup against Atletico Madrid this weekend in Monaco. Should be a good game between two decent sides. Interestingly AM's keeper is also a Chelsea player on loan and has been allowed to play, Cech's heir apparent Thibaut Courtois(looks a gun too).

It's on ESPN at 10pm Saturday night if anyone's interested.

I'm surprised they're up that high as you are ranked over your last 5 years of European football I thought.

UEFA Champions League draw takes place at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco at 5.00pm (UK time) on Thursday.

Arsenal should make the round of 16 from group B.

Anyone care to have a go at predicting which teams will go through? I'd do it but my kmowledge of teams outside of the EPL is lousy. Apart from the fact that it's inevitable that Barca will knock Arsenal out of the Champions League at some stage.

Hoping we can get off to a good start against Galatasaray tomorrow morning to start our champions league campaign. Our group looks very easy compared to the other ones but we cannot take any team for granted and must play at our best.

Just love CL games, the football just goes to the next level. The second of Oscars two goals pretty was amazing.

I just wish RDM would give Studge a go at CF, Torres isn't doing enough to keep him out.

Man Utd 1-0 Galatasray

Good start to our Champions League with a win in our first game courtesy of a Michael Carrick goal. Very happy we didn't concede any goals as well and kept a clean sheet as defensively in the first few matches of the EPL season we were sloppy.
