A good friend recently attended a talk by Gideon Haigh who was a consultant on the series and wrote the definitive book on WSC. When asked had anything been left out of the mini series, Gideon requested that the recording equipment be turned off and then made a somewhat blunt reference to Kerry and Ita'a dalliances...

Hm! Just got hold of Gideon's book actually, looking forward to reading it.

I played a few seasons for a club in the Mercantile Cricket Association called The Reds and Haigh played for an opposition club. He seemed like a good bloke-limited skills as a cricketer (or might have been a bit past his prime) but made up for it with a good line in sledging.
