Warnes a wanker, his ego is writing cheques his body can't cash. He can still bowl Four overs but is clearly thw worst fielder in the bbl. Unfortunately though, David Hussey is an even bigger wanker. He is a nasty antagonistic man who will try anything to motivate himself and annoy oppositIon fans

Based on something one of the strikers players said today, pollard (nor Lara before him) get on particularly well with Samuels either.

I must have missed something if these comments are based on last nights performance.

Can we keep this whole thread a bit less snarky please guys? No problem expressing opinions but the inflammatory stuff is going too far. I dont want to have to start cleaning up

Having watched it I don't think it was a good look. Warne clearly was out of line & I reckon a one match ban is about right. If I was Warne I certainly wouldn't bother being 'miked' up in future & I wouldn't be surprised if the ACA get involved & direct their members to desist in future, which will be sad as I enjoy some (not all) of the players comments in real time.

I can see what Warne was trying to achieve but I think he went about it the wrong way & then when interviewed (a really good job in my view by Sarah Jones) for him to say he was throwing the ball to the keeper when it was apparent he was throwing the ball directly at Samuels just made him look silly.

We agree on this one CD
Really ordinary from Warne, and not a great look for T20's target audience .

              Did anyone hear Sutherland's comments?
Probably the most insipid jelly fished response of all time.
Maybe a twitter ban should have sufficed!
The whole world would agree on that sentence

Nope, was talking about a few previous "observations" of David Hussey when he's been playing at Adelaide Oval.

Lets get this thread back on topic and keep it there.

How do people like the one match a day, without double headers concept? I don't hate it, the tournament should be run at a different time in the summer but I don't mind the constant cricket, could quite easily be seen as too strung out though. Thoughts?

Not a fan of one dayers, they offer the worst of both worlds IMO.

Absolutely love Test cricket, easily my favourite form. Games mean something. Full of substance (could do with a calendar world cup or the like but that's a different issue).

t20's are a bit of quick fun, light entertainment.

To me one days neither have substance nor offer a quick fix of entertainment. That's just me.

When t20 first started being an actual product people feared the demise of test cricket but it's one dayers which I believe are dying.

I'm probably the opposite, if I'm going to watch cricket, the one dayers are what I'll watch. Can't be bothered with the tests, find them incredibly dull. I'm not a fan much at all really, but if I watch, I like it to be over in under 24 hours

Couldn't agree with you more Rocco. Add in the dumping of Hussey and crappy selection policy, and there is no glimmer of excitement to grab my attention.

Test cricket is light years ahead of the other cricket in my opinion. 50 overs is contest but I haven't found T20 cricket that good. It should not be an International game except for fund raisers etc. Competitions like the BBL is about as far as it should go.

There is something wrong with a game that has a bowler like Clint McKay who is capable of bowling high 130's and low 140's sending down 4 balls per over around the 125 mark. The way non striking batsman are allowed to leave their crease so early so often isn't in the spirit of the game either.

I wonder what will happen with t20 bowling. A friend of mine plays district cricket and his team play the 2nds spinner ahead of first grade pacemen at that level.

Unless you can bowl express pace or are a genius with slower balls, you are going to lose your spot to a spinner.

It's funny, I remember people saying t20 would kill spinners in a they won't play kind of way. The form 'suits' spinners most by far but not in a manner healthy to test circket.
