There is something wrong with a game that has a bowler like Clint McKay who is capable of bowling high 130's and low 140's sending down 4 balls per over around the 125 mark. The way non striking batsman are allowed to leave their crease so early so often isn't in the spirit of the game either.
Agree Test Cricket is light years ahead of the other formats, though it is dependent on a critical mass of top line nations all playing well and being competitive at the same time. I do get diesappointed when you have three day matches, rather than the full five or at least four or so.

T20 is pretty shallow IMO. It's interesting talking to Indian students with whom I do post grad study with. They think it's the bees knees, and the future without a doubt.

Since the advent of T20, I've become more interested in 50 over matches as there's been some good cross over in batting and bowling strategy. I think the format is a little long, and should potentially be brought back to 35-40 overs a side, with a substitution of batting and fielding sides, where you have specialists that do one or the other, rather than having the entire team do both.
    TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.

Big Loss to the Renegades tonight in the first Semi, chasing down the Brisbane Heats 184, It was always going to be a big ask.

Lets hope the Stars can with in Perth in the other semi.

Shame too, the Renegades had such a good series. Felt for them, I don't like the stars.

Up front first of all I have Shane Warne behind DK as Australia's best bowler I've seen.
But his carry on this summer has hurt his image and dare I say it his legacy.
The Marlon Samuels incident was a disgrace and made him look like a petulant bully.
Then there is the running commentary on just about everything. ( I agree on his rotation bagging)However I found it ironic he rotated himself off to London in the middle of the T20!
Then there 's the captaincy farce of tonight, which is silly considering Shane didn't bowl tonight and handed the ball to a rookie in Alex Keith. Can't bat, can't bowl , sounds familiar

Heat take the title. Nowhere near the best team or the tournament but I guess they peaked for a few games t the right time.
