Really hard to generate passion for Arsenal these days. Pretty much goes like this...

Step 1- Arsene goes for undervalued purchase
Step 2- Turns into a gun or is a dud (disappointment ends there)
Step 3 (if gun)- Leaves at first chance

We pretty much do the same thing every year. Go nowhere near winning the title and come 4th. Win nothing. Look I know we still win more than we lose etc but it's either boring or frustrating being a Gooner.

Until I just read a news article I wouldn't have even known that Bradford City had dropped to League Two.

Just for the record they're the only team in the premier league era to fall from the top flight into what is now League Two.

And I see Henry's probably coming back for another loan in January.

I heard one pundit today say Gervinho would miss his own funeral.

I listened to a bit of the game on the Talk Sport App & was surprised with the team Arsenal assembled, a far cry from days gone by when Wenger used the League Cup to play the Youth Team.

Fantastic listening to a penalty shoot out (unless your team's involved) & you can hear the crowd reaction.

Sickening isnt it? Do you listen to The Tuesday Club podcast? A couple of weeks ago Alan Davies comnpared the Invincibles player by player with the current team. The difference is incredible. It's like we built a really good house but then started to remove the bricks one by one and replaced them with worse and worse bricks until we have the shower of shit (his words) we have now.

These days we exist only to finish in the top four in the EPL so we can qualify for ECL and get the bucket of cash that comes with it. Hill-Wood and his cronies love Arsene because he makes them money by constantly making the ECL on a shoestring budget. I honestly dont think that they (Hill-Wood, Gazidis and the board) care if we win any silverware at all-just so long as we are in Europe. And what was the point of Stan Kroenke buying into the club?


Of course having said that we'll probably win the Champions League now!

Except it isn't done on anything near a shoestring budget. Arsenals wages are out of control and have been for a long time.

Harry Redknapp now has come in charge of QPR and with the quality of players you have they should stay up. They are too good to go down.

It's a surprise considering QPR have spent a lot of money buying good players and they haven't delivered and got any wins for the season.

To whoever pays him(and Arsenal) the most. United, Liverpool, City or us. He's knocked back a five year deal to stay where he is.
