I'd say you guys would be happy with that result away to Sparta. It's never easy winning away from home which is why I was satisfied last night with that 1-1 against Real Madrid in the Champions League.

Always nice to get a win when you don't play well.

Oscars goal was a peach(within 30 seconds of coming on the ground) and he's going to be a phenomenal player in a couple of seasons.

Torres continues to frustrate and I have officially given up on him, looks like he will be making way for Falcao anyway. I've never seen a striker so reluctant to get into scoring positions. It's just so bizarre. The reason Torres' scoring record is so poor is not just the ones he misses but the reluctance to gamble and anticipate like any other striker. He seems to have no desire or hunger to score goals. If that's just a confidence thing or not I don't know. If he has lost his pace then he needs to adapt his game.

Chelsea and Spurs through with last minute equalisers, Newcastle through too. Pool out on away goals. Three of the favourites in Napoli, Ajax and Atletico knocked out. Exciting round.

Newcastle, Tottenham and Chelsea through. Some more exciting matches with Toons through with a goal in the last couple of minutes, Spurs in extra time and conceding 4 and the Blues needing the last 2 of their game. Heck, Fernando even got the winner.
